We all could use a little escape
Escape is a 6.7% ABV sour IPA double dry hopped with Azacca and Equinox and brewed with a special strain of yeast called Philly Sour which was isolated by our friends at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Being found in our own backyard, this yeast encapsulates what this beer is all about. Dr. Matthew Farber and his research team individually selected this yeast strain from nature for its ability to produce both lactic acid and ethanol during primary fermentation. The result is a smooth, elegant and subtle sour IPA with juicy notes of red apple, peach, and honeydew melon.
