mmmm more dessert

Influenced by one our favorite Italian desserts, this 13% ABV tiramisu-inspired dessert stout stimulates your taste buds with notes of brown sugar, coffee, vanilla, and some chocolate to round it all out. We started this batch out with the same long-boiled base as the OG Nocturnal Creatures but pumped up the sweetness with some brown sugar and a dusting of Dutch chocolate towards the end of the boil. We then conditioned this luscious brew on coffee from our homies and local roasters at Harvest Coffee. Hand-split and scraped Madagascan vanilla beans were combined with the coffee during conditioning resulting in a thicc imperial dessert stout perfect for sipping. ⁣A huge shout out to our friends at Harvest Coffee and BKON for their always local, always awesome coffee. A big goal of ours here at Double Nickel is using what we have locally available and we’re so stoked to have such great roasters and beans here in our own backyard for us to play with. Harvest Coffee roasted us a special batch of Java Estate Pancoer beans, which gave off earthy scents of tobacco, cinnamon, and dark chocolate. We then used BKON’s innovative and proprietary RAIN system which is located right down the street from us; a super futuristic method of coffee extraction utilizing a vacuum chamber to make the coffee extract. The combination of these two is out of this world and we hope you enjoy this liquid black gold
